Join us to enter the world of working with plant spirits that some call Plant Devas. The spirit that is a collective of that plant. Not one individual Lavendar plant, but all Lavendar plants. We will discuss how to meet the plant spirits and a bit of the nature of that work and then we will take a guided meditation to meet Ceridwen and she will take us to the plants themselves so we can hear their messages for us. We will not be discussing herbal recipes or usages. This workshop is based on a year-long course that the instructor teaches for Woolston-Steen Theological Seminary (WSTS).

While household spirits may not have a fiery aspect, many hearth-based gods/spirits are connected to fire. In this class, Tamar will focus on Judaism, the earliest of these traditions, and the deep and ancient magic it and its language hold. However, as with many things it comes with a dark history, a history that lingers in the modern world with hate filled groups such as the Asatru Folk Assembly. Much of this history is built in late 19th and early 20th century white supremacist esoteric societies. From Madam Blavatsky and Aleister Crowley to Baron Ungern Von Sternberg and the Nazi Thule Society, this panel seeks to explore this past so that modern pagan communities can better combat modern hate filled movements such as the Asatru Folk Assembly and other similar groups.
