How Archaeology Can Help Us Reconstruct the Origin of Pagan Religions
Friday July 17, 2026 10:30am - 11:30am EDT
This workshop will explore the ways archaeology has helped discover the origins of polythestic religions. From Native American religions to Chinese folk religion to Norse Paganism and the Egyptian gods, archaeology has helped to piece together the origins of these practices. Through examining these we can look at ways archaeology can continue to help modern pagan communities reconstruct the origins of their pagan practices and apply those findings to the modern day.

The ties that bind (and some that should not): connection, clearing and balancing alignment for a magical life
Friday July 17, 2026 2:30pm - 3:30pm EDT
There are cords that connect us all as we move through life: some aiding and supporting us, and some holding us back. All our experiences make us who we are, how we are, and where we go— and through all these connections we have opportunities to grow. This workshop will discuss cords in faery seership, such as the threads of the Weaver, and the impact of our connections on our life, our work and magic. We will discuss discernment of these threads, and A’alyvyne will offer information about tools and techniques that can guide and assist both supporting or severing that which enhances, as well as that which no longer serves us, in our true purpose and Great Work. This includes everyday cleansing and clearing, as well as deeper, focused unbinding or severing negative connections. We will discuss tools such as the iron blade, the Weaver’s tether, and other faery topics and tools related to this work.

The Heart as Compass: Love, Will, and the Path of Inner Alignment
Saturday July 18, 2026 9:00am - 10:00am EDT
Presentation DescriptionLove Under Will is the paradox of Thelemic doctrine. Across mystical traditions, the heart has been described not merely as an emotional center, but as an organ of perception — capable of recognizing truth before the analytical mind can explain it. This experiential workshop explores the relationship between love, will, and spiritual direction through symbolism, cosmology, contemplative practice, and cross-tradition insight drawn from Western esotericism, devotional mysticism, and modern understandings of heart–brain interaction.  Participants will examine how authentic purpose — often called True Will — may be recognized through resonance rather than analysis, and how practices of attention, breath regulation, and symbolic contemplation can reduce mental interference and clarify inner orientation. The session concludes with a guided meditation integrating Tarot symbolism and embodied awareness practices designed to help participants experience alignment directly. No prior background in Thelema or ceremonial practice is required.📘 Short Program Listing (50 words)An experiential workshop exploring how love functions as an inner compass guiding authentic will. Drawing from Western esotericism, contemplative practice, and symbolic psychology, participants learn practical methods for recognizing spiritual direction and quieting mental interference, culminating in a guided meditation on alignment, purpose, and inner coherence.

Queer witchcraft is a living archive of resistance, resilience, and joy—rooted in the intertwined histories of magic and LGBTQ+ people. This presentation explores how queer communities have long transformed witchcraft and mythology into powerful spaces for spiritual sustenance, creative resistance, and community survival. We will trace how the persecution of witchcraft was also an attack on sexual and gender nonconformity, and how reclaiming these traditions honors queer ancestors while shaping liberatory futures. Through historical accounts and personal stories, we’ll meet queer witches, healers, and magical practitioners who defied erasure, finding strength in shared memory and turning ritual into acts of survival and liberation.

Prometheus with a Pen: Thoth and the Connection Between Writing, Magic, and Divination
Sunday July 19, 2026 10:30am - 11:30am EDT
A variety of cultures have believed that writing systems possess qualities uniquely suited to the practice of magic and divination. Examples include the knucklebone oracle of ancient Greece, which tied divinatory meanings to letters of the alphabet; the Kabbalist paper amulets created by Jewish magicians since the first century CE; the himmelbrief (“heavenly letter”) written charms of Pennsylvania Dutch hex magic; and the modern popularity of the Old Norse elder futhark alphabet as a magical and divinatory tool. But what makes writing such an apt tool for these uses? This discussion will explore history, myth, folklore, and linguistics to unpack the Egyptian god Thoth as a figure of the hidden connection between writing, magic, and divination.

Working with Gods: How to Ditch the Dogma and Rewrite the Rules
Sunday July 19, 2026 12:30pm - 2:00pm EDT
Why work with the gods? As magical practitioners, working with deities gives us access to powerful, potent opportunities for inspiration, aid and assistance, mentorship, divine union, and a bone-deep sense of acceptance and belonging. So what does this look like, when we deconstruct patriarchal notions of worship and devotion, and rewrite our own rules of engagement? Jamie has been working with gods and other Unseen Ones in her magical practice for over 25 years. You're invited to join her for a lively discussion about how to approach working with gods, the types of relationships we can build with them, and suggestions for best practices. She'll share her personal journey within the context of her relationship with Hades, with plenty of time for Q&A.
