Matter-Reality in the Charge of the Goddess: Bodies, Objects, Places, and Sensations
Friday July 17, 2026 10:30am - 11:30am EDT
Shelley Rabinovich and James Lewis called the Charge of the Goddess “perhaps the most important single theological document in the neo-Pagan movement". Knowing Paganism’s deep affinity with materiality, or matter-reality, such a foundational Wiccan document as the Charge would naturally incorporate bodies, objects, places, and sensations. Material aspects bring a sense of value, meaning, and order to Wicca, serve as symbols to be interpreted for religious meanings, build traditions over time, participate in assemblages along with Wiccans, and act on Wiccans and shape them. In this paper, I will compare five versions of the Charge dating from 1899 to 1979; and the short excerpt from the Charge which Gerald Brousseau Gardner included in his 1954 book Witchcraft Today, to understand what material aspects he and his initiators considered suitable and best to share with Wicca’s earliest public audience.

Mighty Medieval Magical Minerals (and Gemstones!)
Friday July 17, 2026 2:30pm - 3:30pm EDT
The mystical properties of gemstones and jewels have their distant origins in the ancient lapidaries; books of mineralogical lore which we now clearly recognize as magical. During the medieval and Renaissance eras, these writings flew under the radar of authorities who would burn texts they deemed sorcerous. The majority of these texts emphasize the medical usage of gemstones in an era where healing was risky; but others were used to protect against curses, draw money, attract love, endow courage, and even make the bearer virtually immortal. This lore was later integrated into astrological magic, as every stone corresponded to at least one star or planet. Join me as we discuss the forgotten powers of some of the most amazing magical gemstones available for your practice today.

Mind over Magick: The Psychology of Ritual Magick
Saturday July 18, 2026 9:00am - 10:00am EDT
In this presentation, Richard Kaczynski draws on peer-reviewed research in psychology, cognitive neuroscience, and real-time brain imaging to show how and why ritual magick produces profound experiences with tangible benefits. For solitary practitioners and group participants alike, Richard shares what happens, on both a psychological and neurological level, when they enter sacred spaces, use ritual implements, enter deep meditative states, or experience the transformative effects of initiation. Attendees are encouraged to approach magick as a science to hone a more effective and empirically grounded practice.

The Closeted Witch: Textiles, Colors, and Accoutrements for a Magical and Purposeful Wardrobe
Saturday July 18, 2026 10:30am - 11:30am EDT
Not every magical individual wears linen, earthy tones, or has a million piercings with tattoos galore and knows their way around a sewing machine. Sometimes, most times, we have to work with what we already have in our closet or what we have access to, and that's okay. The history of textiles, their uses, color language, and ceremonies is as old as time and textiles themselves. Let's see how this history and knowledge can be used with our wardrobes to guide us in protecting and arming ourselves for our daily lives and everyday adventures.

Crafting a therapy ritual: Using your magic to support your inner work
Saturday July 18, 2026 12:30pm - 2:00pm EDT
Therapy, like ritual, is a sacred space where healing and transformation unfold. In this interactive workshop, we’ll explore how pagan spiritual practices can be thoughtfully woven into personal growth and therapy work. We’ll briefly review the academic and clinical foundations that support integrating ritual, meaning-making, and spirituality into therapeutic practice, grounding this work in both evidence and lived experience. Together, we’ll explore how ritual—through engaging the senses, honoring the elements, setting intention, and creating protection—can deepen presence and support inner healing. Participants will learn the difference between habits, routines, and rituals, and will design a personalized therapy ritual to use before, during, or after sessions. We’ll also discuss how to talk with a provider (pagan or not) about incorporating spiritual practices into therapy. Presented by Rachel, a pagan therapist with over 20 years of experience and co-founder of Pagan Affirming Therapy & Healthcare (PATH), who is currently writing a book on this subject.

Saturday July 18, 2026 4:00pm - 5:00pm EDT
In this Plant Spirit Communication talk, we will explore how to go beyond simply identifying plants and dive deep into the art of building meaningful, reciprocal relationships with them. Cheyenne Jolene Yates, Ecologist (M.S.) and Herbalist of Among Oaks and Owls, weaves together both science and spiritual awareness to offer grounded, ethical ways to communicate with plants. We will learn how plants communicate through ecology, chemistry, and subtle perception, and how we can begin to tune into them. The talk explores practical foundations of plant spirit communication, such as connection to breath, sensory awareness, and consent. Cheyenne will also address common misconceptions, ethical considerations, and the importance of spiritual discernment.Participants will leave with simple, grounded practices they can begin immediately and a renewed sense of kinship and responsibility toward the green world. Just Energy: Physical, Mental and Spritual Balance
Sunday July 19, 2026 12:30pm - 2:00pm EDT
Scalar energy treatments, multiwave oscillators, and radionic machines are part of modern metaphysical healing systems designed to balance the body’s subtle energy field. Scalar energy is described by practitioners as a non-Hertzian, coherent field capable of supporting cellular communication, detoxification, and emotional balance. Multiwave oscillators build on the idea that each cell vibrates at specific frequencies; by exposing the body to a broad spectrum of oscillations, these devices aim to reinforce the natural vitality of healthy cells. Radionic machines extend this concept into the realm of “information healing,” using frequency signatures and “witness samples” to broadcast corrective energetic patterns either in person or at a distance. Although these methods remain scientifically controversial, many metaphysical healing centers use them for energetic cleansing, emotional clearing, and supporting holistic well-being. These modern frequency-based technologies can be conceptually connected to Afro-Cuban spiritual purification practices such as those found in Palo Mayombe. In Palo, cleansing rituals aim to remove spiritual negativity, reestablish harmony, and strengthen the individual’s connection to ancestral and natural forces. Both approaches—metaphysical technology and Palo ritualism—share the belief that human health involves more than the physical body and that imbalances in one’s spiritual or energetic field can lead to emotional, mental, or physical disturbances. While Palo works through ancestral spirits, ritual baths, herbs, and the sacred nganga, scalar and radionic treatments attempt to achieve similar effects through vibrational frequencies and energetic modulation. Together they represent different but complementary paths toward restoring balance, removing unwanted influences, and promoting spiritual and energetic alignment.

This workshop explores multiple techniques for identifying and connecting with planetary, stellar, and asteroid energies. We'll cover finding natural affinities through your natal chart, working with the Lord of the Year for annual protection, current transit analysis, intuitive exercises and reaching out to celestial energies you're drawn to regardless of your chart. Any planet, star, or asteroid can be approached as an ally - your birth chart just shows where you might have an easier introduction. You'll learn how to connect and build relationships with these celestial beings. Bring your birth chart if you have it, but come ready to explore beyond it.
