No Kings! Forging New Archetypes to Create Our Future
Saturday July 18, 2026 9:00am - 10:00am EDT
In this workshop, oracle and tarot publisher Stacey Williams-Ng will discuss the standard tarot archetypes—the Devil, the Empress, and yes, the Court cards—and tie them in with far older archetypal models from Western thought. Since Plato, we have collectively tried to pin down the roles that all human beings must somehow fit into, yet the figures remain shadowy. If we all agree that the world is pressing forward into a new paradigm, how can we build new archetypes to strive towards? (And should we even try?)

  • Take aways: After years of working on divination systems, and squeezing my brain very hard to make systems that would work for people, I ultimately managed to tap into my own ancestral folklore to "make a world" that my readers could make use of. I did so without relying too hard on the Golden Dawn, Aleister Crowley or anyone else in our field: instead, I looked to my community's own traditions and ideas. I would like people to walk away from this sesh feeling similarly challenged. Why must we put a couple of notable 19th century authors on a pedestal, when we have SO many new voices in the world? New divination scholars—many of whom might even be in this audience!— can offer us divination systems with life lessons that *are not* based on European political systems of royalty, patriarchy, and colonialism, because those ideas are—well, quite distasteful. So how can we democratize cartomancy? Important: I will not just be promoting my decks here. I want to lift up many great examples of modern tarot artists.

As Above, So Below: Working with Tarot as a Hermetic Mirror
Saturday July 18, 2026 10:30am - 11:30am EDT
The Hermetic phrase “As above, so below; as within, so without” reminds us that everything in the universe is connected. The cosmos, the body, the mind, and the spirit all reflect one another. In this workshop, we’ll explore how that truth lives inside the Tarot. Together, we’ll move through the seven Hermetic Principles and see how each one shows up in the cards, from Mentalism and the Magician to Rhythm and the Moon. You’ll start to see the Tarot not just as a deck of symbols but as a living mirror of the universe and your place within it.We’ll work with a guided tarot spread I created called The Microcosm & Macrocosm to help you read the dialogue between your inner world and the larger forces shaping your path. Then we’ll close with a simple reflection session to align the “above and below,” grounding what you’ve learned in real-life magic.

  • Take aways: I want people to leave seeing Tarot and Hermetic philosophy as mirrors for how energy moves through their lives. I hope they walk away feeling grounded, connected, and clear on how their inner world shapes their outer world.

Celestial Mirrors: Exploring the Duality of Archangels and Infernals
Saturday July 18, 2026 12:30pm - 2:00pm EDT
Are Archangels and Infernals truly opposites, or are they more alike than we imagine? In this class, we’ll explore the fascinating dynamics between four Archangels and their four Infernal counterparts, examining how each pair reflects two sides of the same cosmic coin. Together, we’ll uncover the unique qualities and roles of these powerful spirits, discuss safe and respectful ways to begin working with them, and learn to recognize the signs that indicate when they may be reaching out to you. Whether you’re curious about spiritual duality or seeking practical guidance, this class offers a balanced and insightful introduction to both Archangels and Infernals.

Curse Your Heart To Heal It: Reworking Ancient Curse Tablets for Emotional healing
Saturday July 18, 2026 2:30pm - 3:30pm EDT
Curse Your Heart to Heal it is a hands-on workshop that reimagines ancient curse tablets as tools for emotional healing, self-regulation, and restoration. Drawing on Greek and Roman defixiones, participants will learn how binding magic traditionally worked, and how those same techniques can be ethically adapted for working with your own heart, habits, and emotional attachments. Attendees will actively create a symbolic binding object while learning when, why, and how such bindings can be safely created and deconstructed when they are no longer necessary. The workshop begins with historical context, examining curse tablets (also called katadesmoi or defixiones) in their cultural context and how they were used  as instruments of harm, but also as a magical means for protection, justice, and control. By understanding how curse tablets were constructed, empowered, and deployed, participants will gain insights into why physical acts like inscribing, folding, and piercing carry psychological and magical weight.Workshop attendees will then engage in a guided, hands-on process using prepared materials to create a symbolic binding focused on self-directed healing. This work is framed explicitly around consent, self-care, and personal agency, addressing situations where emotions, attachments, or internal patterns persist beyond their usefulness. Emphasis is placed on working with your highest good in mind.Attention is also given to deconstruction and release. The workshop concludes by discussing when bindings are no longer needed, how to safely dismantle magical objects, and why undoing magical work is as important as creating it.This workshop is suitable for practitioners of all experience levels and offers attendees both a tangible ritual object and a deeper understanding of binding magic as a compassionate, responsible healing practice. All materials will be supplied.

Death and the Afterlife in Heathenry
Saturday July 18, 2026 4:00pm - 5:00pm EDT
Where do we go when we die? There are many Gods of Death in Heathenry, which implies that death was a force often encountered. In this workshop we will explore death and the afterlife as they relate to the Heathen tradition, both ancient and modern. Popular culture would suggest that Valhalla is the afterlife of the Vikings, but there is quite a bit more to it than that.

Saturday July 18, 2026 7:00pm - 8:00pm EDT
Time is not a commodity to be saved or wasted, but an energetic tool that can be created and experienced. This ritual will support us into aligning ourselves with cyclical time, giving more fluidity to our lives, allowing us to experience true joy in our beginnings and move on from difficult endings. Under the guidance of the Orisha Nana Buruku, our own spirits will guide the way, decolonizing and decluttering our minds, freeing ourselves of the shackles of capitalistic productivity. Let our magic be rooted in liberation, not a tool of capitalistic expectations! You don't have to be in a relationship with Nana Buruku to enjoy this ritual, come with an open mind and the heartfelt desire of making peace with cyclical time. All of the information needed will be provided during the ritual, including ritual after care suggestions. Nana Buruku is as ruthless as the passage of time itself, yet her embrace is peaceful, liberating and deeply healing. She is our wise grandmother, a force driven by love and ancient wisdom. Please bring a non plastic small bowl or mug to best enjoy this ritual.

Funerary Rite for an Aeon
Saturday July 18, 2026 8:30pm - 9:30pm EDT
Join author, sorcerer, and avant-garde conceptual entity J.R. Mascaro in passing beneath the allegorical Dolmen stones and into the realm of memory, the infinite expanse of yesterdays which exist as mirrors to an eternal now. Here, aided by the guidance of funerary spirits, we will bid farewell to the age of what was and clear a space for the age of what is to come. This ritual will involve interfacing with the echoes of pre-human ancestors, unweaving inherited sorrows, and formally bidding farewell to the previous age of the world.
