Meet the Plant Spirits!
Friday July 17, 2026 9:00am - 10:00am EDT
Join us to enter the world of working with plant spirits that some call Plant Devas.  The spirit that is a collective of that plant.  Not one individual Lavendar plant, but all Lavendar plants.  We will discuss how to meet the plant spirits and a bit of the nature of that work and then we will take a guided meditation to meet Ceridwen and she will take us to the plants themselves so we can hear their messages for us.  We will not be discussing herbal recipes or usages. This workshop is based on a year-long course that the instructor teaches for Woolston-Steen Theological Seminary (WSTS).

In this class, we will discuss how your body can be a canvas for spellwork, which fingers boost the intentions of rings, using sigils on your body, the unique power of your voice, tattoos, clothing, jewelry, makeup, movement and so much more!

  • Take aways: To leave the workshop realizing that while all the witchy accoutrements and spell recipes are great, all they really need to do ritual, commune with nature, work powerful spells and heal themselves is with their own body. All the other stuff just adds to the foundational level of who we are as magickal beings.

Skia: The Nightside Current of Indo-Greek Witchcraft
Friday July 17, 2026 12:30pm - 2:00pm EDT
Where the Olympian gods radiated order, justice, and cosmic clarity, the dark tradition lingered at the thresholds: in caves and crossroads, in necromantic chambers, in whispered spells scratched into lead and cast into tombs. This is Skia, the dark current of Indo-Greek witchcraft and sorcery: a current of shadow, of secrecy, of awe, and of dread. The dark tradition is often perceived as dangerous. It is the work of those who understood that the gods, daimons, and restless dead could be communed with as well as worshipped; that words, symbols, and offerings could bend the unseen forces toward human will. In this lecture you will encounter Hekate, Persephone, Typhon and Hermes Chthonios: understanding their role in true shadow workings. You will learn of the history surrounding our dark tradition in the areas of: Nightside Theurgy, Necromancy & Daimonic invocations, Curse Tablets, Pharmakon, Vampirism & Vampiric Traditional Religion, Chthonic Sacrifices, the Athanatonekroi, and more. The Dark Tradition is not marginal; it exists in the same breath as temple ritual and philosophical discourse. In the great cosmopolis of Alexandria, Greek, Egyptian, and Near Eastern strands fused together into a unique and obscure curriculum of gnosis. To walk this path is to acknowledge the ambivalence of power. Magic, as the Greeks knew, is pharmakon: both remedy & poison, healing and harm. This is our Dark Tradition - Not a rejection of Hellenic religion, but its other face: the one that speaks in whispers, under the moon, in the places between life and death.

Hearth & Fire Spirits: Guardians of Households, and Protectors of Bloodlines
Friday July 17, 2026 4:00pm - 5:00pm EDT
Many cultures and spiritual traditions recognize that there are spirits who dwell in the households that can both help and harm the people who live there, such as Brownies, Domovoy, and Tomte. They may also be hearth gods that bless the home, like Brigid, Hestia, and Frigga. Many Asian cultures also worship a “kitchen god”. While household spirits may not have a fiery aspect, many hearth-based gods/spirits are connected to fire. Within North Asian shamanic traditions, every family has a household fire spirit, which can bless and protect the household family. In this class, we will explore the different household and hearth spirits/gods. For those who are not tied to specific cultural deities & spirits, we will also explore the generic household fire spirit, which anyone can work with even if they are not North Asian, as well as how to employ a fire ceremony to strengthen your own household.
