About me
Dee Norman is an author, teacher, professional card reader, and Italian American folk magic practitioner raised in her family's magical tradition. For more than thirty years, she has studied and practiced folk magic, divination, practical spirituality, and the Western Mystery Tradition, with a particular interest in preserving and adapting traditional magical knowledge for modern practitioners. She is the author of Burn a Black Candle: An Italian American Grimoire, The Golden Grimoire, and The Seeker's Guide to Grimoire Magic, and a contributor to Llewellyn's Complete Book of North American Folk Magic. A student of cartomancy since the mid-1980s, Dee has been reading cards professionally for more than thirty years and serves an international clientele. In addition to her writing and private practice, Dee teaches workshops on divination, folk magic, saints, prosperity work, and grimoire traditions throughout the United States and online. Through her books, classes, and readings, Dee works to preserve the wisdom of traditional folk and historical practices while making them accessible, practical, and relevant for contemporary spiritual seekers.
