Alexis Hughes is an end-of-life doula, educator, and Executive Director of the Home Funeral Alliance. Her work centers on reclaiming sacred, community-based death practices, including home funerals and shrouding. Through hands-on education and ritual, she helps people reconnect with death as a meaningful, human experience rather than something hidden or feared.
