Come and discover how to make magic using simple and ancient techniques.

I will show you examples of beautiful, traditional, Buddhist mandalas and explain the artistic imagery. The mandala is associated with Buddhist psychological teachings that reflect a unique perspective of a peaceful culture that seeks to create harmony internally as well as in its relationships with others. The mandala offers a simple path through difficult mind-states, which I will update in modern terms as common psychological imbalances such as dissociation, anger, self-centeredness, feelings of never being good enough, and codependency.

At the end, I will perform a brief ritual called, "Completely Dispelling the Darkness of the Ten Directions." This was originally performed by the Buddha Sakyamuni for a follower named Shining Countenance who was seeking protection during travel and for relatives
